Mail Cut Off Times

First Class & Certified Mail

  1. Mailings submitted before 8PM EST are postmarked by the United States Postal Service the following business day.
  2. First Class mail delivery standards typically range between 2 and 4 days.
  3. First Class mail is not guaranteed within a specific window of time.
  4. Delivery standards for Certified Mail typically range between 1 and 4 days.

USPS Priority Express

  1. Mailings submitted before 10 AM EST Monday-Thursday are post marked the same day.
  2. Mailings submitted after 10 AM EST and on non-business days are postmarked the next day. 
  3. Priority Express offers guaranteed delivery in 1-2 days and up to 3 days for rural destinations.

USPS Regular Priority (referred to as "Priority Plus" in the CaseMail Wizard)

  1. Mailings submitted before 10 AM EST Monday-Thursday are post marked the same day.
  2. Mailings submitted after 10 AM EST and on non-business days are postmarked the next day. 
  3. Regular Priority offers delivery in 2-3 days.

Saturday Mailings

  1. Mailings submitted on Friday before 8PM EST are postmarked by the United States Postal Service on Saturday.
  2. Mailings submitted after 8PM EST on Saturday and before 8PM EST on Sunday are postmarked by the United States Postal Service on Monday (except for holidays).
