Please understand that this is a common issue with the USPS mailing infrastructure, whether items are mailed offline or through CaseMail. This is one of the reasons why many clients prefer to use CaseMail. Our Certificates of Mailing serve as proof that your attached documents, stamped with our CaseMail ID, were mailed on a specific date.
Once an item is sent out, it is under the control of the USPS. The USPS has been experiencing some delays, and in certain cases, items may have been delivered without being properly scanned at delivery.
If appropriate, we recommend confirming with the recipient that the item was delivered. However, please note that we cannot generate a Certificate of Delivery until USPS sends us the necessary confirmation codes.
