How to Create a Mailing List

A mailing list can easily be created by importing a properly formatted CSV file or manually entering recipient information.

Step 1: To create a mailing list please navigate to the people icon on your dashboard entitled "Contacts". Next, click on "Mailing List".



Step 2: Please select "My Account" to create a mailing list for yourself or for your company.



*If you service clients and are required to create a mailing list that pertains to only one particular client please select the client's name from the list under "Name". This will associate the mailing list with that client.

Step 3: If you are not importing your contacts and would like to create a mailing list manually please select "Add New".



Step 4: Please enter a name for your mailing list and select "Mailing List" from the drop-down menu.
Then click "Save".



Step 5: You will now see your new list added. Click on the name of your list to begin adding recipients.



Manually enter your recipient's information in the empty fields shown below.



Step 6: If you are importing your contacts from a CSV, XLS, or XLSX file please click "Download CSV Template File". This is an example file for you to review. Your file must have the same headers as the example file. You may want to use the example file for best results.

*You can also upload bankruptcy TXT files. Please see the image in Step 10 for more information.




Step 7: Prepare your file for importing. Your file should look similar to this and include the required headers:




Step 8: Once your file is ready please repeat steps 3 and 4, then click on the name of your new list.




Step 9: After clicking on the name of your list you will be directed to a new page that gives you the option to import the file. Please click on "Import Contacts" on the right-hand side of the page.


Step 10: On the next page you will see an option to upload your file by clicking "Browse". Please select the file you saved to your computer and then click "Next".



Step 11: You will now see your contacts imported. Please click "Save Valid Records" to continue.




Step 12: A confirmation message should appear on your screen confirming that your record was saved. Click "Return to List" to be taken back to the contacts you just imported.
