Clio: Sending CaseMail From Clio Account

Clio's custom actions enable users to launch a mailing directly from the Clio matter screen. 

Simply click on the Actions / Edit tab and choose your "SEND" type. 



Enter in a unique mailing name or ID. Use the "Next" button to move to the next screen


Accessing Documents:
CaseMail enables you to select documents from various sources and combine them into a single document for mailing.

Document Links:

Previous Mailings: Clicking this option will present a list of mailings that have been sent per this matter or case.

My Documents: Clicking this option will present a list of company documents stored in CaseMail and are not dependent on matter, client or case.  

Client's Documents: Clicking this option will present a list of  documents uploaded and assigned to a client that was created in CaseMail. 

Client's Clio Documents: Clicking this option will present a list of your Clio Client's documents stored in Clio

Desktop Documents: Clicking the "paper clip" icon enables you to upload documents from your desktop or any document management tool associated with your desktop browser.


Once you uploaded your documents, click on each PDF to review the documents and approve. ( Documents will be merged and printed in the order they were uploaded).
 
Use the "Next" button to move to the next screen




Accessing Contact / Recipient Info:
CaseMail enables you to select contacts from various sources and combine them into a single mailing list

Contact Links:

Client's Previous Mailings: Clicking this option will present a list of contacts that have been sent per this matter or case.

Client's Address Book: Clicking this option will present a list list of  documents uploaded and assigned to a client that was created in CaseMail. 

My Address Book: Clicking this option will present a list of contacts stored in CaseMail and are not dependent on matter, client or case.

Client's Mailing List: Clicking this option will present a list of previously created mailing list associated with this matter, case, or client.

Desktop Documents: Clicking the "paper clip" icon enables you to upload documents from your desktop or any document management tool associated with your desktop browser.

Client's Clio Address Book: Clicking this option will present a list of your Clio Client's documents stored in Clio

Add Contact/Recipient Form: You can manually enter in recipients using the form.  Entering save will add each recipient to the current mailing. 



Select Postage and Mailing Instructions:
Once options are selected use the "Next" button to advance to the next screen



Submit Mailing(s)

Checkout: Clicking this option submits mailing(s) for processing

Save and Create New: Clicking this option saves mailings to your Mail  Queue and are not submitted until checked out.


Sending From the Mail Queue: 

To checkout and submit mail saved in your Mail Queue for processing. Click on the "SEND" icon on the left menu bar / then click on Mail Queue in the drop down menu.




Select the mail to be submitted and then click "Checkout"


Activities Record in Clio

Once your mail has been submitted CaseMail automatically records each mailing's description and associated fees in the Clio matter activity screen.
